Wow, Wow, Wow!
My first show since 1994 (9/28/94 Boston Garden, I think.) I'd been listening to some older P&F shows on the archive (thank you tapers!) so I sorta knew what to expect.. even so, I spent most of the first set trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Absolutely unreal. Highlights for me were the intro jam once it gets going, Terrapin, Elevator, Morning Dew... Gimme Shelter is haunting and beautiful thanks to Teresa Williams. Eyes is very nice (but I miss Jerry's vocals). I love Phil's rendition of Mountains of the Moon.
Overall a great show, you can tell the band is having fun and is playing at a very high level. The recording is excellent, so this show gets 4 stars from me.

From the Wharf. . .
not psychedelic enough ;)
tee hee
no, but seriously, went with my woman and didn't even so much as smoke the lazy smoke and we tripped our faces off on the music ALONE.
And then we picked them up off the floor so as to prevent the tripping of others on our faces. After all, they have faces of their own to drip off.
Yes

THANK YOU PHIL
I WILL NEVER SAY GOODBYE SO AS LONG AS IM ALIVE!

Inspiration..move me brightly
What a historic end to an incredible run. The 1st set is one of the best and to end with Morning Dew was, well as we all knew we were already there. Set two is great and with much passion and wonderful readings of many classics.Gimme Shelter blew the roof off and then to hear one of the best Eyes with Phil was great. The Eleven is very good too and the transition to Unbroken Chain is wonderful and this is one of the highlights of the set. DS>Mountains>Wheel is amazing, especially the Wheel. They rave it up big time for Midnight Hour hour and end it with a joyous Lovelight.
What a night!

Philathon Finale
This was on of the best shows of the run.
1st set Terrapin>Slipknot> Elevator (run time 45 mins) for the first three songs.
Down on the valley
(false start)- thought that it was just a tease
Morning Dew-
Need I say more- and that was just the 1st set
